Laboratory Associate Position
Rincon Bio – Lehi, Utah
Founded in 2013, Rincon Bio is a pre-clinical contract research organization (CRO) specializing in in vivo cancer efficacy studies, including xenograft and syngeneic immunotherapy models. Our clients range from university principal investigators to established pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
Rincon Bio was founded with the goal of simplifying and improving the execution of high-quality cancer efficacy studies while delivering exceptional scientific value through responsive, high-quality U.S.-based research support.
We are seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Associate to join our team in Lehi, Utah.
Position Overview
The Laboratory Associate is a full-time, on-site position responsible for organizing and carrying out in vivo cancer efficacy studies under the supervision of a Project Manager or Scientific Director. The role includes work with tumor models, cell culture, laboratory animals, data collection, study execution, and in vitro assays.
This is an excellent opportunity for a new or recent graduate to gain valuable industry research experience in cancer drug discovery. Associates at Rincon Bio gain direct experience with techniques and study systems that are highly sought after within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, as well as graduate research programs.
In vivo oncology model experience is uncommon at the undergraduate level, and former Rincon Bio associates have gone on to highly competitive graduate and research programs after gaining meaningful scientific and operational experience with our team. We invest heavily in training and ask candidates to commit to a minimum of two years. This ensures our investment in training is worthwhile while giving associates the time needed to develop genuine technical expertise and independence in the role.
The work at Rincon Bio is fast-paced, laboratory-based, and detail-oriented. Successful candidates are highly motivated, intellectually curious, proactive learners who take ownership of their work and are eager to develop new scientific and technical skills.
